Hi,
We have a trouble to passthrough http traffic on bridge interface after upgrade to Mikrotik 3.0rc1. Did any one have same problem with me ?
There is no any problems for me.
Can you give more detailed information about this (what is your configuration, does HTTP traffic work without bridge on the same rotuer) ?
I have bridge an eoip interface and ethernet interface (ether1) in RB500 series.
It can’t passthrough any traffic , not only http.
But if i bridge ether1 and ether2 (physical interface) in same router, nothing happened for all traffic and work normal as usual. I think bridge will not work with tunnel interface such as eoip interface.
If i downgrade our routerOS from v3.0rc1 to v2.9.x, so i will got all parameter for wireless interface reset to default parameter.
Make sure you have added correct interface to bridge (there should be local interface and EoIP tunnel),
check that EoIP tunnels do not have the same MAC-address configured.
Yes, I have the same problem. If you have v3.0rc1 or v3.0rc2 on one side and 2.9.44 or 2.9.45 on other side, then eoip tunnel working very badly! Speed of eoip tunnel is decreased to 10-20 kbps only. If you change RouterOS to same version on each side, then work good. I mean this is bug!
And yes again, if you downgrade from v3.0rcX back to 2.9.xx, then all wirelles interfaces is disabled, and ssid is erased, band set to default 5ghz, lost country settings…
It would be great if you can give details about configuration used on both ends (is it default) ?
About second issue, 2.9.45 has such problem you may look at Wireless networking forum for sticky topics, where is described why you have such problem, however right now 2.9.46 is released configuration is not resetted any more.
Configuration is default on both ends.
MK v2.9.45:
IP bridge: 192.168.1.246/24 interface bridge
IP wireless card: 192.168.66.1/24 interface wifi
eiop-tunnel:
MAC: FE:03:17:5D:25:2A
ARP: Enabled
Remote address:192.168.66.2
Tunnel ID:66
Bridge ports:
ether1
eiop-tunnel
MK v3.0rc2:
IP bridge: 192.168.1.166/24 interface bridge
IP wireless card: 192.168.66.2/24 interface wifi
eiop-tunnel:
MAC: FE:6D:B6:8B:F4:16
ARP: Enabled
Remote address:192.168.66.1
Tunnel ID:66
Bridge ports:
ether1
eiop-tunnel
I can ping without problem, but speed is terrible
…
You have to check connection between these routers and routers configuration, I have created configuration 2.9.45 (RB133) — 3.0rc2 (RB500),
there are not any problems to send large amount of data.
If it is possible to test connectivity without EoIP, try to test this the results should not be different.
