I’m having a strange problem with my bridge I believe but what it’s doing is at random times it will not let me winbox to my router but I can still ping the router perfectly, I tried to open winbox and do a mac scan to find the router but I don’t see it, I have another mikrotik hooked up and I do a mac scan with winbox and I see it fine, not sure if my bridge is configured wrong or what, I have my ether1 interface in my bridge and my wlan1 in my bridge as well, then I have 192.168.1.1/24 configured on my bridge and using my friends laptop connected to my AP I can login to the router using winbox but still not on my desktop, it’s strange, maybe it’s not my bridge but I’m looking for any help I can get. I’m running 2.9.18 if that makes a difference.. any help would be appreciative.
Upgrade to 2.9.30, this might fix your problem. If all else fails you could reset the router config and start again as maybe you messed somthing up when you where setting it up.
in v2.9.18 and before there were minor bridge issues. (hint: watchdog->watch-address)
it’s around that version that they changed how you add interfaces to bridges as well.
