Bridging wlan+lan+eoip problems ?

Hi

I used to have a lan and a wlan bridged and everything is running perfect.

I have now created a EoIP interface to a remote site and when I add the EoIP interface to the same bridge some of the traffic to my wan seems to be blocked.

If I disable the EoIP on the bridge only bridging the lan and wlan everything works perfect again.
It seems to me that the traffic routes the wrong way, but I do not have any default routes for the EoIP interface.

Any ideas or suggestions for what to look for is highly appreciated - thank you.

Only some traffic is affected - which one? Maybe it is throwing down the MTU…

Hi Jarda

Thanks for the reply

It is definitely related to some MTU settings.
I tried setting the MTU on the EoIP interface to max and so far that solved the problem.
My knowledge on the MTU settings isn’t very good and from the small amount of reading I have done so far it seems that setting the MTU to max probably will affect performance ?
