brige WLAN and Ethernet 3

Hi,

i have my own hotspot server, and user able to connect to my hotspot server thru wlan. However my router have a small wifi range, and i would like to install outdoor AP and connect to ethernet 3. when user connect to this outdoor AP, user not re-direct to my hotspot server.

how to solve this..? how to make ethernet 3 also connect to my hotspot server just like wlan ? should bridge this two interface?

wlan = connect to myhotspot server
ethernet 1 = connect to ppoe
ethernet 2 = juz to allowed admin to access router config
ethernet 3 = connect to outdoor AP
ethernet 4 and 5 = off ( just for backup )

model : RB 951G

Hello, make a bridge on the routerboard.
add ports wlan1 and ether3 to the bridge
The bridge is the interface for your hotspot not wlan1 anymore
Outdoor ap configurate this as ap with on lan dhcp-client
I hope you understand

Also put the DHCP server on the bridge instead of the wlan interface and also the ip address.

Yes rudios i forgot this

Thanks guys… it works..

one more thing, in address part also need to modify and link to this bridge.

I touchgt that it works? If it works what must to be changed

If the bridge no IP_address en DHCP server do this:

You must give the bridge a IP-address you can indeed that change to the bridge
Dont forget DHCP-server and IP-pool to change to the bridge.

IP pool is bound to DHCP server, not to an interface!
