broken package routeros

Hi there,

i have a problem with my CCR1016-12G. The Router is on OS 6.33.5 when i try to upgrade to a newer version the log file says “broken package routeros-tile-(version).npk”. No matter which newer version i use. If i tried to install the current installed version again i get the same entry in the log. The same file works on three other CCR1016-12G.

I hope you understand my question and you can help me to solve it.

Thanks in advance!
LyC

Hi Lyc/all,

did you ever find a solution? I just tried to upgrade a RB1000 from v6.42.5 to routeros-powerpc-6.43rc51.npk
and I get the same message:

$ md5sum routeros-powerpc-6.43rc51.npk

-rw-r–r–@ 1 user group 17119097 Aug 6 20:21 routeros-powerpc-6.43rc51.npk

I used routeros-powerpc-6.42.6 and that one worked:

$ md5sum routeros-powerpc-6.42.6.npk

I am unable to upgrade an RB1200 from from 6.40.2 to 6.42.6 I have tried several times. The last time I tried a manual download of routeros-powerpc-6.42.6.npk. The checksum for the files was 706ce4d758a3a0dab91ff49a455c9b90. Uploaded to the router and rebooted, same result: broken package. I downloaded the file from the router and checked it again and the checksum didn’t match.??This router had been compromised via the Winbox exploit. Any ideas?
