"broken package" when installing RouterOS using NetInstall

I have two RouterBOARD 500 Series MikroTik routers, which have no images installed. I downloaded routeros-rb500-2.9.35.npk, routeros-rb500-2.9.48.npk and routeros-rb500-2.9.49.npk from ftp.mikrotik.info. Md5sum’s of images are following

MD5 (routeros-rb500-2.9.35.npk) = 74db871d2002fdec1278bc5c8c102c0e
MD5 (routeros-rb500-2.9.48.npk) = 024c2d71dfe3fa75ed45b4aa9e16b736
MD5 (routeros-rb500-2.9.49.npk) = 9e32b908132d67c2a414ba7ecc08a12f

I tried with both MikroTik NetInstall for RouterOS v4.13 and MikroTik NetInstall for RouterOS v5.0rc3, but the results are the same:

Memory testing is done on both routers. What might cause this “broken package” issue? Maybe I should use very old version of NetInstall as images are old, but where to get one? :unamused:

better just stick with 3.30 if you want to use older version of RouterOS. If you downgrade this low you will have some problems when updating to newer version again, as i see you have new-style soft-id already and old version does not understand that

Thanks, installing routeros-mipsle-3.30.npk with MikroTik NetInstall for RouterOS v5.0rc3 worked. Most likely those older 2.9.35, 2.9.48 and 2.9.49 versions require older version of NetInstall :unamused:
