Morning all,
As you may have read in other posts, we do a lot of rental WiFi deployments in high density and ultra-high density environments.
For the lower density areas I’m thinking of creating custom portable towers with a RB800 + daughterboard along with 8x R52nM providing eight channels at once, fed by a wireless PtP link (either Sextant or UBNT driven)
For real portability We’re considering to power the unit with a car battery which should easily last 12 hours or more.
Are the RB800, Sextant (and R52nM) protected against brownouts just in case my batteries will drop voltages somewhere below 10V?
Or should I go for active stabilization and power cutoff if voltage drops unexpectedly?
Thanks in advance,
-Chris
