We are currently using mikrotik as demarcation switches on our gigabit fiber product.
I have tried to setup a speedtest server onto one of our circuits so that our engineers can prove speeds when installing.
I have setup the btest service on a mikrotik however i am having trouble with authentication.
When i have authenticate ticked, i simply get the “can’t connect” message when trying to bandwidth test.
I have setup a user with “Test” permissions, and i have tried this with a full admin user, but the results are the same.
When i untick authenticate, i am able to run the bandwidth test without issue.
What am i missing?
