Hi, we are using Btest on Windows to testing bandwidth though whatever WiFi AP to Mikrotik router. We can measure WiFi speed in any place in the house and verify if the problem is in user’s device or in the WiFi AP. In addition, we can measure speed between 2 Windows devices. Btest is very useful utility for us and Mikrotik stopped supporting it. Can we expect some update or we will have to use some different tool? And what to use instead of Btest to Mikrotik?

I use iperf between devices for a better performance measure.
I’ve long since stopped using anything that requires interacting with a router since it adds an extra load on the CPU and affects the results. I let routers route and leave the testing to computers.
With the Windows (as well as Linux) versions, it’s easy to do.
