we do some performance testing in lab and tried using MT-btest.
We see strange results using the btest on Windows PC.
On 100MBit Lan we get near 100MBit from RB4xx to PC running
btest (UDP) but only 30MBit from PC to RB4xx.
Double checked this with a second PC. One of the PCs is W2000
the other Vista.
Seems this btest SW on Windows isn’t usable for now?

well, it’s better if you test from PC to PC through your RB4xx
Not with btest. This tool seems not to give full bandwith when used on a PC.
I’ve attached a RB500 replacing the PC for the tests. Seems to work
full speed using UDP-Tests. tcp-Tests are maxing out the CPU of the RB500 (266)
at 20MBit.

just tested PC-to-PC via gigabit link - btest shows about 220 mbps receive or send, about 100-150 mbps in both directions, like DU-Meter says =)
