BUG? Change password using wrong current password

Hi,

I’ve been working with some RB250’s with SWOS 1.5 installed and I’ve noticed a weird behaviour that can be reproduced. Perhaps this is a bug in the SWOS?

What happens?

After changing the password it’s no longer possible to login to the management interface.

How?

  1. Use a RB250 w/ SWOS 1.5;
  2. Login using admin / no password;
  3. Go to system tab;
  4. Type “admin” in the current password field;
  5. Type your new password in the new password and confirm password field;

Now the management interface asks you for your new password. Whatever you enter, it won’t work. You can only reset the switch to the factory defaults.

Few weeks ago I was configuring about 20th rb250gs with swos 1.5 and I didnt have that problem.
Maybe try on diffrent computer?
