there is (serious) bug in SwOS 2.0 and/or CSS106 HW, that renders management IP in tagged interface unusable. For some reason (error in switch programming, I suppose) device returns frames tagged with wrong VID. It (probably) works for VIDs 2-15 (tested 2, 3 and 15) then something gets messed up. For VIDs 16 and 17 I’m getting untagged frames, for VID 906 - returned frames are tagged with 778 and for 908 – with 780.
I hope it’s trivial bug that can be quickly and easily fixed.
Confirmed.
Management configured in vlan 690, on tagged port, receive ARP responses with VID: 514. Also after this configuration i am unable to save configuration to file.
Firmware: Current Installed Version 2.0 (built at Thu Jan 26 2017 12:43:10 GMT+0100 (CET))
For us, It is a serious bug. We have strict policy about management vlan’s and so are unable to use new CCS106-5G-1S.
I’m not sure anybody actually complained to Mikrotik. Can you please write to support@ ?
And, by the way, there is absolutely no need to post the same message in multiple topics.
I’ve received 2.1rc3 firmware for testing, and tagged management seem to work. Have not done extensive testing. Just looked if it is working.
One other minor problem still exist.
BTW. Found SNMP v2c support and 64bit counters in this FW.
Thanks Guys.
