Using Windows7,
If you dont run your dude.exe as an administrator, you cannot ping the devices. (it says local error)
If you run your dude.exe as an administrator, you cant have file transfers from winbox. (tools>winbox)
I am really missing v3.6
Current version is beta3.

I have used this in the past, you can mondify the instructions above to create a rule that automatically allows a program to run as administrator and not prompt for UAC approval.
It is pretty straightforward.
