Hi, since first beta version of TheDude v3 and even on current beta of march, as noticed by another user in a post around january, wallpapers (custom map and also grid.png) keeps disappearing while zooming in&out on local and remote thedude clients.
Tried on 2 machines, both XPSP2, but different vga cards.
anyone else still having this issue?
121 views and nobody else reported this issue too?
well, here are a couple of screenshot of what I meant with my previous post, sorry if it was unclear.
25% zoom factor

and at 200% zoom factor background disappears totally (in fact it always occurs after zooming in beyond 33% ), screenshot is taken from the center of the map near to the stadium.
Similar thing happened to me a few weeks ago, although I did not troubleshoot to what zoom level the background disappeared. Was just experimenting, was using a 19meg JPG for a background, so when the problem occurred I assumed it was the size of the background. But somewhere between 10% and 100% zoom levels, the background would disappear, but it would still be present in the lower left corner navigation pane. In that pane, I could move around my zoom outline box, but never would the background reappear.
Again, I was just experimenting, didn’t try to track down the cause. But a solution for this would be great.
Props again to The Dude, an outstanding work-in-progress.
I experience the same problem: when my background (2050x2050 pixels, GIF, ~150 Kb, Dude Scale 200%) is zoomed 50% and more (i.e. enlarging the source image) it disappears. And when moving map by mouse, sometimes thin lines of background image appear in borders
