Building a Bridge

I have two MikroTik Metal 2SHPn one is set up as PTP bridge AP. The other is set up as PTP bridge CPE. There are less than 150 meters between them. Some trees, but no leaves. All the signal LEDs are lit. So a very strong signal. But very low bandwidth speed. I used the bandwidth test in the tools. But I can use it. But so slow.

So I have given up trying to force these two to work together. I have a new Metal 2SHPn and I would like to create a file on the old router. Then run it on the new one. I’ve tried backup and export. But they don’t seem to copy everything.

What am I missing?

These are the export file from base and remote. Just in case you can spot where I went wrong.
base.txt (1.11 KB)
remote.txt (1002 Bytes)

I boxed the base radio up. And it goes back tomorrow. Then a new one will be sent out. If that doesn’t fix it. Then the remote will be sent back. And a new one will be sent back to me. If that doesn’t fix the problem. Then I give up and send both of them back for refunds. And I’ll stretch a string to the barn.

After boxing and sending the base back for an exchange. I stumbled upon the health page in system. The base is running at 23.8V and 5C. But the remote is running 23.5V and 30C Running a tad bit warm as the ambient air is 2.2C
Too bad the spare left today. Tomorrow I’ll give it the touch and see if it really is that warm.
