Building to Bulding with a Crossroads ??

What Im trying to do is this . ( hope it makes sense )

At the house I have a Internet connection to a D-Link 655 . Then in my garage across the yard I have a Crossroads router board with a external antenna , then plugged ( cat5 ) into a pc in the garage , signal is great .

My prbablem is getting the internet to work on the garage PC . I have both the wireless and the ether on the crossroads getting they’re IP’s rom the D-link via DHCP .. But to get the garage PC to talk to the crossroads I have a static IP in the same IP range as the rest ..

I can ping the D-link in the house but cant get the net . On the router board I have the wireless set to " Station " . I tried using " Bridge " but cant ping anything then ..

do know what is yout gateway and dns

I do . In the routerboard config I put the DNS from the ISP and for the Gateway I entered the IP for the D-link router in the house , thinking tht would be my gateway out ? But now you have me thinking that is wrong ? Im at work , when I get home Ill enter the ISP’s gateway ..

OK , I thought I was onto something but it didnt work …
