Burnt Mantboxes and Netmetal

Hi Guys

This happened during a slight rain (no recorded lightning or thunder)

It also affected the though switch the 2 mantboxes where connected and also the RB3011 as well as surge protector

Affected devices are
Router
RB3011 (burnt): Powered with POE now and working but port 2 -5 is not responding while 6 - 10 works
Netmetal (Burnt): Connected to port 2 on RB3011
QRT5 (OK): Connected to Port 10 POE

Tough Switch (Burnt NOT WORKING ATALL)
Devices are

  1. Rocket M5 (Burnt)
  2. Rocket M2 (Ok)
    3: Power Beam (Ok)
  3. SXT Lite (Ok)
  4. Mantbox 19s (Burnt)
  5. Mantbox 19s (Burnt)
  6. SXTsq 5ac (OK)
    8: Power Beam 5ac (Ok)

Have you ever experienced this?

How best can one prevent this

Please note we have two active earthing systems and well as outdoor cat5 and 6 cables (some with esd)

That quite a lot of soot and burn marks. Looks like far more juice than only PoE.
