Use target address, but you can configure all that on the rate-limit on pppoe

hi cebernet can u give more details about how to use rate-limit with pppoe and does it work on 2.8 series or it is just for 2.9

cibernet what you mean by default in pppoe is it a new feature in 2.9.11 ?
thank you in advance

hi joseph yes it is found on the 2.9.11 version but i guess it is like the limits found on 2.8 unless we can use burst in it. hope somebody can explain it more

hi joseph, did that worked with u, if yes can u post it cause i was a bit confused using target address

it means when you created the account for the user

you can define the rate-limit

I have the same problem. I solve it adding a fixed interface for each user, and adding a fixed simple queue to the same user, and it work!
I found that when i try to create a simple queue for a dinamic user, the queue not “catch” dinamic user interface, i solve this creating a fixed interface. sory for my english, i´m spanish spoken.

can you say how you put static interfaces on pppoe clients?

limitation occurs per user / per profile on PPPoE Server.
I’ve tested it… and it’s really powerful
