I’ve read over the butchwhatever post on that site about bursting and still I am confused just need some conformation on some things, please help..
Max Limit: Once average speed hits B-threshold speed is controlled by M-limit as long as average is below B-threshold, then the speed limit is set by B-limit.
Burst Limit: Speed while average is below B-threshold, once average exceeds B-threshold speed drops to M-limit.
Burst Threshold: Once average speeds exceeds B-threshold speed is controlled by M-limit.
Burst Time: When speed goes above 0 the average speed per second is determined, once average speed exceeds B-threshold speed is set by M-limit.
I need these questions confirmed here…
Does speed drop to M-limit once it exceeds B-threshold or does it wait for the B-time seconds to be reached?
