Butch Evans QOS script

Hi,
I purchased Butch’s QOS script a couple of months ago and have tried to implement it on a X86 - turns out I’ve been using a server with a dodgy ethernet controller.

It’s been swapped onto Mikrotik’s 36 core CCR running 6.0rc11 - due to the lack of global-in and out I’ve substituted these with the physical interfaces and it seems to be performing ok. Time will tell as we’re yet to hit our peak usage today - yesterday it was awful dropping packets all over the place.

Has anyone on here had any success with this solution?

I had a customer that purchased it and needed help with it. It is nothing special, just a normal QoS. Using the interfaces should be fine.

Note that instead of global-in and global-out that now there is just global.

Hi Gents
I just buy Evans Script also (one week ago) “Base system only”
but I really have problem to implement it
I’m running hotspot with ospf (offering only public ip) and Radiusmanager for accounting
so now I’m looking a way to only shape traffic
Can you guy point me how to apply it in my case because I send many mail to Butch without reply
I think I’m messing everything with metarouter. (I’m using RB1100 and also X86)

I’ve given up emailing and posting on his facebook group. He doesn’t even give the courtesy of a reply. Wonder in this script has now become abandonware?
