Any ideas as to how to send packets across a active interface, just to place load on the controller with no other kind of Bandwidth test device on the other end.
Ive tried pings, with different SRC addresses but they do not cause any usage to the target interface
The idea is to put load on the Ethernet or wireless card / controller without a BW test server on the other end, i do this to check max, worst case power draw before deploying a solar +bat. setup.
An old radio i use to use had this broadcast test feature that accomplished this.
