I have seen posts regarding editing the dynamic NAT rules created by the hotspot regarding DNS redirects to include “hotspot=!auth” in order to allow authenticated hotspot users to use their own DNS servers without it being redirected to the Mikrotik. when I apply this “hotspot=!auth” it does work, but if the hotspot service restarts, or the Mikrotik itself reboots, the setting does not stay permanent as it is a dynamic rule created by the hotspot service. How can I make this edit permanent? I don’t want any hotspot authenticated users to go through the Mikrotik DNS. Thanks for the help.
