Cablelabs Micronets

In about a year, or less, the largest ISPs in the US that are cable based will launch Micronets. This is a SDN. This is the future. Its a open standard and Cablelabs is working with Cisco, Netgear, Arris, Technicolor and chip makers Intel and Broadcom to name just a few.

I need Mikrotik to support Micronets.

I agree that it would be nice if Mikrotik came up with some SDN-SD-WAN_-ish_ orchestration solution. But this area is just so over-hyped for the moment and everyone rushes to be the self proclaimed “leader”.

It’s impossible to support every new SDN-concept or VPN solution that pops up once a week nowadays.

Amen to that!

I am really starting to believe that you are shareholder in one of key companies and you want to promote this craziness…
