Calea & USB Drive

Is there a way to get the calea server package to save files to a usb drive? Or else a hot swapable external sata drive?

Matt

Currently, it is not possible.
However, as far as I know Calea server support for secondary-drives is on to-do list.

I have been working on a solution that would look for completed CALEA files (by looking at the presence of the hash files)
and moving them off the CALEA “Server” / router to a windows box that is running a secure FTP server for the LEAs to connect to and pull their data from so that they werrent poking arround in a router or the CALEA server looking for things that arrent within their scope. (Snooping !! No… )

I want RAID (mirroring) and secure FTP…

Currently I think 150 GB should be plenty of space…

I will advise on status…

Craig - this is how I plan on doing it as well on a current ‘project’.

Nice if a feature like this were built into mikrotik. When creating the calea intercept also auto create a sftp username and password that can only access relevent files.
