Can a hAP AC Lite power a Hex RB750Gr3 over POE?

I have a hAP AC Lite powered by PSU.

If I buy and attach a Hex RB750Gr3 to expand port count, can I power the Hex through the POE port from the hAP AC Lite?

Thanks.

Yes, provided that the PSU has a higher voltage than 21 V and that the adaptor can provide 18 W of power in total. The maximum power consumption of hEX RB750Gr3 is 10 W, and the maximum current on the PoE output of hAP ac mini is 500 mA, so the output voltage must be at least 20 V, which multiplied by those 500 mA gives a product of 10 W, and there is a small voltage drop from input to output. The adaptor which comes bundled with hAP ac lite (24 V, 1.2 A) gives 28 W of power so if you use that one, you’re safe in both aspects (the two devices take maximum 18 W in total). In reality neither of the devices will consume the maximum power, but better safe than sorry.
