Hi All.
I have been trying to install routeros in a 1tb sata disk, i can pick the packages up, but when is formatting the disk, never ends, only show me points and more points.

it takes quite a lot of time to format 1TB disk in RouterOS installation procedure. Just try to wait some more.
i wait 2 days with samsung 1TB disk, formating dots still cary on 
, now i try to format brand new sagate 1TB who knows how mutch time it will take ???
I have installed RouterOS on a 1TB disk on a quad core x86 PC once cause I didn’t have any alternatives available at the time, and yes it took forever to format it.
I just let it work alone formatting and in the end (I think a day or two) it was finished.
Has worked like a charm ever since. And plenty of space on it. 
Remember that the Licence of routerOS ties a knot to the harddrive, so once installed you can’t switch harddrive without buying a new license!
And if my hdd is damaged i must buy a new license?
Sounds really bad.
