I have a MikroTik x86 VM VMDK Image export with fully licensed level 4.
Now I want to use that license level 4 in real physical machine with Core i5, blah blah blah.
What options do I have?
Can I move the VMDK somehow to real hard disk in real machine so that the license will also come with it?
Can I install new x86 on the real machine and move the license?
Please Help?
License is bound to the boot hard drive serial number and other identifiers. They will be different for every HDD and always different from ones used by VM,
so license will be lost. Other than that, moving ROS from VM to real HDD would be as easy as converting VMDK to raw disk image and writing that to the disk or USB flash drive (as long as it’s big enough).
But ROS Licenses are unmovable and once you pay for it, it’s locked to the HDD you used at that moment.
