Can i queue an interface resp WLAN?

i was trying to out simple queue on the WLAN interface but it was not working… if i out though on lets say bridge1.. its working…

Does it mean that i can not activate queue on WLAN interface… resp interfaces at all?

Or there can or could be another way to apply queing on WLAN interface?

Hi there
is wlan belonging to any configured bridge? may you share/ export your configuration to have a clue of the whole issue?

thanks

Hi…

thank you for your reply…

I have also a bridge in my setup… but…thats the point.. i dont want to put whole bridge to queing .. only WLAN interface…

I too have this issue. It seems you cannot queue actual interfaces, software interfaces are fine though.

don’t use bridge, set different network for wlan and lan, then set simple queue on wlan. also allow communication between these two in firewall forward if you want to see each other.

Do.. setup a new DHCP only on WLAN… different than the actual bridge.. and in the firewall forward from one to another subnet…

I’ll try…

But what i’ve noticed… if i setup a virtual wlan and put a queing on this Virtual AP interface.. it works fine… so… it looks like software interfaces are working just fine with queues..
