Can i recover my RB3011UiAS-RM ?

Hi there guys..

I have a huge problem with my router RB3011UiAS-RM.. Anyway it was running some pretty old fw when i tried to upgrade it to the latest one over Winbox.. So I went to System/Packages/Check for Updates, and after a reboot it was running the v4.46.3.. After that i went to System/Routerboard and i have upgraded the Routerboard fw to the same version.. So, it asked me to reboot the router.. After i did, it went limbo… It is now stuck on “Starting kernel”

I have tried to recover it with NetInstal over Windows 7 and Windows 10 (firewalls down and bla bla..) but i am not “seeing the router in the list” .. Then i tried to connect it over console port.. What i am getting there is some crazy msg that the licence is corrupted and that i need to reinstall the firmware… How can i do it now? :frowning:

So the only option i have is actually console port and xmodem i guess ?

No I don’t think you have to do that. You should try Netinstall and reinstall the OS on the router. Google around there are briliant guides out there how to use Netinstall.
