Can i update my router MikroTik RB962UiGS-5HacT2HnT 6.44 firmware to the latest v7.20.6 (and if anyone have a tutorial will be more then welcome. Thank you
(I have updated from the winbox to 6.49.19 and if i press again check for updates it`s say system is already up to date and i have 6.49.19 no 7…)
I think you need to visit this page and read how you could upgrade your device
You could download the correct npk file and put the file with winbox
And take a backup of the configuration before you do a upgrade.
Select the update channel: testing or development. This will give you the option to update to 7.12.1. Update, and then the next step is to update to 7.20.6 on stable channel.

Once you have upgraded you should set it back to “stable” or else you will get a 7.21 beta version.
Any specific reason for upgrading to version 7 for you?
I want to be up to date cuz i did not give to much atention to this aspect witch is wrong and wanted to fix this. Thank you
6.49.19 is also up to date. Feel free to use v7.
Running v7 probably needs your attention more than "click update button and done".
