Can I use the Wireless Wire for this?

Hi,

I have a router on one side of the house and am planning to add an external antenna to propagate signal to other parts of my property that will be on the other side of my house… I am trying to avoid home running a wire from my router to the antenna… my question is can I use the wireless wire product as a range extender and the plug my outdoor antenna into it and have useable signal outside ?

I know I will have some loss because the signal will have to go through one door, but I am using a satellite isp so I can’t even run anywhere near full duplex 1G

Pls let me know

“Can you” if the physical object interference is negligible and the distance is not too great? Of course, that’s what it’s for.

Are those conditions true in your particular house? Only you can best judge this, not someone on a forum.

But you cannot just plug an antenna into it, you must use a third active device, such as a WAP outdoors.

If you don’t have a speed requirement, I’m not sure why you would spend large money for a Wireless Wire pair when instead you could buy two SXT5sq or even SXT2sq, and avoid any questions of physical interference as a bonus.

If there is something cheaper that works just as well… that would be fine… maybe I’ll use Ethernet over power… just trying to avoid crawling under the house

Thx
