is there any way to make this ?
If you don’t want to stretch any way too much, then probably just MetaROUTER, if your device supports it.
if it’s a doable , the device will be x86
just want to know how to ,
can you share a link or wiki?
Thanks ,
There’s KVM in x86, but I never used it myself.
to install a sip server on mikrotik as linux
this is not what I meant
I meant to make the router itself to be use as a server
so all my client will connect to the server, without the need to install any other linux sip server
At least on Mikortik RouterOS packages web page, nothing about SIP…

You’re here long enough to know official answer, there’s no voip server package from MikroTik and no support for custom packages or any other way how to install you own stuff.
Other than that, RouterOS has Linux inside, so if you find a way how to put your stuff in, it could work. There were some exploits for older versions, to give you shell access. I don’t know if anything still works with current version. But it wouldn’t be good solution anyway, you’d have problem with updates, so you’d probably have to keep some old version forever, you’d be on your own with everything, … so maybe fun thing to play with, but hardly for any serious use.
I thought maybe there is a “smart” solution to do this
“no” - is a very good answer
I don’t know all , this is why I’m asking
Thanks ,
If my memory is working well, in the very early days there were plans for this, and/or there was a release with parts there (please correct me if I am wrong). But it got removed.
I hope my memory is working!

Probably on future, with a container, is possible…
