Can Mikrotik/routerboard handle a 10Gb QCWAVE link with redundancy

This is a question for my fellow professionals using Mikrotik in their infrastructure. My company has the opportunity to co locate equipment in a data center to connect a 10Gb fiber link 90 miles away to our NOC. It is our hope to put two MT units in the data center and two in our NOC in a redundant configuration. when I mentioned this to the engineers we are working with they scoffed and said, “MT can’t handle it!”. I have been a MT user for 10 yrs now, and I get a little defensive when American engineers don’t give it a chance. but is my Bias making me blind? Are MT CCRs really not “commercial enough” to handle this critical link? Should I be looking at Cisco or Juniper for such an important link? Product suggestions, configuration suggestions, and general opinions are valued.
