Can new Hotspot user select up/down package? On Signup?

Hi

Is it possible for hotspot users ( signing up onces ) to pick/select what up/down package they want to buy? or this can be done some other way?


As of right now i have MT RB 750g with Linkys WL-520 AP for testing. I use only Antennas from the Access point the rest is controlled by MTik.

My goal is:

  1. To have hotspot packages
    a) 512kbs (down) / 256kbs ( up ) ex. i would like it to give to users with 1 Day credit
    b) 1 Mbs --||-- / 512kbs ( up ) -------------------------||--------- 1 week
    c) 2 Mbs --||-- / 1 Mbs ( up ) ------------------------||---------- 1 month

How to make it to happen with mikortik hot spot and user manager? How to achieve this.? Or i have to do it manually every time new user signs up. Now only users are divided into groups base on time rate. All of them share the same pipe.

That would be great if i could do this.

As far as I know, you can do that without problem you just have to create different credits and different batch of users with limitations, and the uptime field has to be set to the time u want to give to your packages

I think you misunderstood me.

I want to have this automated with out my intervention. User gets option to select somehow the down/up 1/4/.1/2 , and 1/2by1 , how can i allow users to sign up or be able to sign up for those plans? Or they stuck with just the Default profile when they sign up? Only One Plan ( one user profile that is automaticly assign when siging up for 1day or ex. 1 month)

Any ideal how this can be done for muiltiple plans from 1 hotspot? Or maybe i have to have 2 or 3 hot spot servers running on the same subnet, or …


pls give me some ideal, Lights, cause i Plan in hotspot is just to PRIMITIVE.
