hey guys, just wanted to get your thoughts on something…
before i begin, everything has been working fine for > 6 months and nothing has been changed since, a side from an occasional firmware upgrade.
I have a site with a Mikrotik acting as ISP, several customers connected via pppoe, one via ethernet (static), and a couple of pbx’s. everyone has their own WAN IP.
on friday there were three power outages; since then, the customer connecting via ethernet (they attach their own sonicwall router with static public wan settings), they can access only some webpages, some others take AGES to load, others dont load at all. all the other connections are fine. it is just this one customer over ethernet.
We statically addressed a laptop, same problem.
as a test, i setup a dhcp server for the customer on a private ip range, then everything works..
weve already checked dns servers…
anything else come to mind? all other connections are working fine. before the power outage, this connection was working fine for 6 months!
