i am Johann from Germany and i hope you can help me… i have two Alix 2d Router with an older 6.43.4 Stable and a newer one with 6.48 Stable OS.
The older one works fine since a long time in AP-Bridge mode (ip: 192.168.178.199) and i can connect with winbox and dude-client.
The new one with the OS 6.48 works also in AP-Bridge mode (ip: 192.168.178.198) and i can connect with winbox but not with the dude-client.
The Status in only connecting…
Please see the configurations of both routers (attached pictures).
Anyone knows, how i must configure dude in the newer OS??

for a test, i have downgraded to 6.43 and dude works fine now. Why dude not working in 6.48 ?
The 2 versions of the Dude need their own different Dude Client applications with matching version numbers. Between ROS v6.43.4 and v6.48 there’s been changes made to the Dude to cause some incompatibility between devices on different versions. ROS v6.45.9 has been reported to be the newest most stable version for the Dude prior to the changes.
