Can not update ?

Hello.
I have RB3011UiAS router, and I am trying to update it, but:

Is this board not supported anymore, or there is something else which must be done ?

Look in System, Packages first. Then come back to System, Routerboard once you’ve upgraded there.

Worked !
This would never pass my mind, that a package of a new version should be update before the version itself..
Thank You very much !

( Maybe the dev’s should consider putting these two in a same window or something which shows the relation.. )

Before, the version shown here (which is not the RouterOS version but more like the BIOS version on your PC) was competely different, it could show 3.21 for example while RouterOS was at 6.10 or so.
But at some time the unfortunate decision was made to align these version numbers and now it is less clear that this version number is something else than the RouterOS version.
It is much more important to keep RouterOS updated than this firmware, in fact you only usually need to update this once after you bought the device and only again when you want to do very special things like protecting the device from reset. Or when the device is newly released, you may want to watch the RouterOS release notes to see when it is important to update the firmware.

(before that unfortunate policy change you could easily see that the firmware required updating because the current and upgrade versions would be different, but now they are different after every RouterOS upgrade even when nothing was changed in the firmware…)

This is quite confusing still (probably for a newbies like me).
Thank You for the clarification.
