Hi all,
we have DC and POE RB433 and they are killing cisco switchports after a while. After replacing the switch with a new one the error occurs again today. Has anyone seen this problem?
Hi all,

Update:
It is no a hardwrae kill cause cisco log shows that
7w1d: %ETHCNTR-3-LOOP_BACK_DETECTED: Loop-back detected on FastEthernet0/13.
7w1d: %PM-4-ERR_DISABLE: loopback error detected on Fa0/13, putting Fa0/13 in er
r-disable state
7w1d: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface FastEthernet0/13, changed
state to down
I know that I can turn off the loopback detection but maybe ít is better to find out why the loopback error occurs.
Are you kidding me man
This is caused by a network loop where a broadcast comes twice or more times through. Or in a better scenario - Spanning Tree Protocol functionality.
