Hi.
I download http://www.mikrotik.com/download/mikrotik-3.0rc1.iso from official site and can not install it on virtual machine VMWare 6.
On start of install the system show me error:
no harddrives found.

Did you make sure that you have configured a IDE harddisk in VMware? It does create SCSI disks by default, which are not supported by RouterOS.

hard disk controller is IDE…
Also i get next error:
Could not load misc/flash.ko : file not found.
OK - just tried it myself.
I do get the same results with the 3.0 RC 1 ISO file and VMware Workstation 5.5.
Looks like the ISO is still not OK… — MikroTik?!

How can i install Mikrotik RC1 not on physical computer?
IMHO virtual machine is very nice idea for it.
Ditto here… Very frustrating…
We are aware of that problem. Please wait for next release, that will be RC2, where this problem is already solved
