Can’t login in to mikrotik app

Hi Folks

Just downloaded App for iPhone and cannot login . Watched YouTube tutorial but it gives no info on default password .

Admin username and - for password don’t work . Have tried custom username and password and that won’t work either , keep getting invalid username and password prompt .

Any help appreciated , it’s doing my head in ! . Some sort of setup guide from mikrotik for the app is really needed .

what is the version of the device you are trying to connect to ?

It’s a hap ac lite international version

I mean what is your routerOs version…

Where are you logging in. Are you sure you configured that router yourself? Can you log in with other tools? Maybe somebody already set another password.

No I didn’t configure it myself the tech from the ip did . Im wanting to install parental controls

And I can’t connect to it with other tools , the default address won’t work either

So your Problem is not the Application. But the configuration on your router.
Did you try to access it by MAC?

Ask the admin to do this:

  1. tell you the password, obviously he changed it (and it’s a good thing)
  2. upgrade the Router, this version is too old for TikApp and also insecure
