hi,
in this video you can see a throughput of 520 Mbps over 12 Kms. don’t know what they use or how… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZl9e34aXJE
is it achievable through Mikroitk?
hi,

thank you for update. i knew they were using that device…
but how are they achieving an output of 600Mbps throughput on 5GHz using the same parameters we have on mikrotik?
Well, consider this info:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.11ac#Theoretical
802.11ac, triple chain, with MCS9 is theoretically able to achieve (raw) 1300Mbps with 80Mhz channels.
Now, consider this product:
https://routerboard.com/RB922UAGS-5HPacT-NM
I have never tested one of them, but they are specified to MCS9, triple chain, 802.11ac. Also, the performance tests say it can achieve 986.1 Mbps. Can’t say if it really delivers this in real world conditions, but…
It is achievable if everything in the environment is great. E.g perfect fresnal, low to no noise, great alignment, great signal etc…
somehow Dynadish i installed in a perfect condition is not able to get me anything above 100Mbps data transfer speeds with Nstreme.
NV2 is even worse…
What distance? It must be the conditions, because we can get many times more on this one.
distance 1.30 kms… with signal at -50/-55 and all as per settings…
Do you still have this link running? Can you post settings from both sides?
Also, how are you testing the speed?
the link is running… i will post the data soon when i visit the site next time. i have Backup files… can i extract data from it?
i am using IPERF to test the speeds.
Backups are encrypted, but I suggest to just run:
/interface wireless export
on both devices (both sides). also send us the commands you use to run iperf
ok… will do.. thank you very much.
Is it possible that somewhere between the dish and your laptop (on BOTH sides) you have a 100 Mbps capable device in between (like switch, router etc…)?
well… i tested with directly connecting to laptop from both ends but still its not crossing 100 MB/s end to end.
