Can we make Nstream2 link with one dual polarization antena?

Can we make Nstream2 link with one dual polarization antena?

There is a possibility to take such thing:

Yes

How to do it right?

We have problem with this

I don’t know why.

it is possible, but with worst results. better way is to use separate antennas with several meters between antennas. it’s 'cause interference. also for better results u can use PC with good CPU.

I disagree. We have perfect performance using high quality DP solid parabolics.

it is specific to say relatively “perfect performance”. depends of what you expect from link… I just want to say that after we replace our high quality BP solid parabolics with two different dishes both sites, link explodes and start to transport 100% more traffic. In this background i think that using nstreme2 with bipol antennas is a mistake, except in cases where this is the only possible way to create link, e.g. if there no place available for second antenna, etc…

When I say “perfect,” I mean that we have achieved the maximum possible transfer speed that the radio/routerboard is capable of supporting (regardless of antenna selection). We have the exact same performance using DP antennas and individual antennas.

sure? so, what antenna equipment you use?

which dual pol antennas do you use ?
