Can you extend a users session automatically?

We have a hotspot set up with RouterOS v2.9.23 We use usernames/passwords for customers to authenticate and sell our service for 1 hour at a time. So each username/password is set up for exactly 1 hour. The problem is that if a customer sees that they only have 10 minutes left and would like to add more time, they would have to log out and log back in for that extra time to take effect.

My question is: is there a way to add time to a current user’s session without them having to log out and log back in, in order for their time to be extended?

So I’m guessing the answer is “no”? Either that or no one is sure.

Do one of the admins have an answer?

it is not possible with the local user database.
If you would have radius server and it would support radius incoming then you would be able to change that.
