Cancel winbox name is displayed on the platform

Cancel winbox name is displayed on the platform, so that will be more conducive to sales and price to the customer.

I dont get it?

could you be more detailed about the problem?

Janisk, delete the name of the board or make it editable ; P!

More favorable product sales

I still dont get it. What does more favorable product sales mean?

I like seeing the device type and identity in the winbox display.

It’s simple. Someone would like to edit the name of the RB platform and sell it for big $$$ to someone who doesn’t now much about it at all. Nasty idea

Hiding a brand name is never a good idea. Would you sell Cisco or Audi as “yadmin-power” and get more money? I don’t think so. Just joking

You may be joking Normis but there are people able to do it

Not a joke…

I thought MikroTik knew about this, but now maybe not. Looks like MikroTik products to me, and who knows how much they charge.

Normis, cisco is a final product, usually.
Yes, people sells tunned audi’s for more money that they cost.
I know that rb750 or rb250 are final products or rb1000, but perhaps some people would try to sell mkt products with more cost.

With cisco we have a lot of margin for selling, but its diferent with mikrotik.

Mikrotik sells milions of boards, but integrators can’t sell usually more than 20-30 boards a month. If we can’t add a good price.. we have no bussiness.

I sell RB450Gs for $300 USD configured + labor to install.

shrug

Maybe I’m wrong, but I think what we’re talking about here is rebranding, (ie trying to pass it off as your own work) not whether you can make a profit from selling/setting them up.

We sail not only routerboard but also power supplies and technical services.
The users always consider that our prices aren’t expensive because they don’t compare the prices with which they find on Google.
Thus the users easily accept our prices and it’s much more beneficial to the products’ marketing.

So basicaly you don’t want your customers (or lack there-of) to know they can find a better deal elsewhere? Criminal!

Good call Raf

You can do it because you sell RouterBOARD, not RouterMORGUE
Nasty rebranding stinks.

so how far has the rebranding of winbox come till date?
