this is my first post.
I have done this before and it works, but this time it does not, and i cannot understand why
When I try to access any FTP site on internet with a windows machine, I cannot connect.
I disabled (just in case) all firewall rules (except for srcnat masquerade)
Connection is PPPoE, directly to the mikrotik (RB450G) OS is 6.32.3
I tested it with two different PCs (local) to several FTP sites on the internet, cannot connect. (passive or active ftp)
FTP helper is activated on port 21 (default)
I decide to test the reverse, see if I install a FTP server on a LAN windows machine, and create the NAT dstnat rule, it would work connecting from another connection, and it works, which is even more weird!.
So I can host a FTP server no problem, but I cannot connect to any FTP on internet ?
what is going on?, i am totally lost!.
I compared notes with the other mikrotiks I have working with PPPoE ISP’s and there is no difference, and the other ones works, just not this one!.
any ideas?, something I can test?, thanks in advance!.
