Cannot access Hikvision NVR remotely

I have a Hikvision NVR (NR51P6-16), 192.168.11.142. It is wired directly to MikroTik v.6.43.12, 192.168.11.1.

I have Port 8080 open for Server Access on the Hikvision NVR:

With the respective DST-NAT Firewall rule forwarding traffic to the NVR on the MikroTik:

Problem is, when I hit my Public IP externally, I get the MikroTik router page, not the Hikvision NVR.

Help is greatly appreciated!

Please post your dst-nat rule.

Hikvision works fine with Mikrotik, both for web and IVMS client

First of all NR51P6-16 is not any Hikvision Device, maybe any Chinese copy of hikvision!
Second you if port 8080 is open in nat and is available on NVR you should type Public IP:8080 in your browser not just IP, because if you type only IP will respond to port 80 which belong to router web page!

I got the same issues and my Hik cam was working when i set a port foward. Now the firewall rules are quite too hard and that don’t work anymore, but i just connect via vpn and uber safer than having a openport.

Maybe because the default port is 8000 and not 8080?
