Hi,
i am running my own server for datahosting, webhosting and Nextcloud. To access these services remotely, i port-fordwared ports 80 and 443 for webhosting and from WAN it is working fine. When i try to access my web on lan through WAN IP, the connection gets refused. My WAN is dynamic so i have DDNS from NO-IP (something.ddns.net). I found one solution, i added my WAN domain to router´s static DNS record and it is working, but i have one domain primary for webhosting and Nextcloud is running on differend PC (something.ddns.net:8443) so i cannot make it with static DNS. I was looking for solution on this forum and entire internet, but nothing worked for me.
There is a very usefull function of forum called “Search” https://forum.mikrotik.com/search.php?keywords=mikrotik+harpin
and then
http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/forward-internal-traffic-to-internal-webpage/160853/1
Yes, but nothing worked for me :/.
Then it’s time to start an topic (check) and share your config (not checked yet
):
/export file=anynameyoulike (don’t forget the code tags and remove any personal infogrmation)
I think you are in a loop here. It is like when you cannot access/test the local VPN by dialing the VPN from local.
Even if that is not the case, When you are in Rome… act like a roman, meaning when you are local address, access the forwarded services from their local IPs…
You are local going to internet and coming back to the service that you are forwarding from a… local server, right?
You… are forwarding the service from a local server trough the router, right?
