Some time ago I bought the LHG R without a modem to replace my LtAP Mini LTE, planning to use the R11e-LTE from the LtAP in the LHG R.
It’s been sitting in the box for a while for various reasons, and just today I decided to prepare it for the switch.
The first thing I wanted to do is to bring it to the latest RouterOS version, and then to transfer the configuration from the LtAP.
So I connected it to my laptop and powered it up, but cannot connect to it.
It seems that it’s stuck on DHCP provisioning, as my laptop says “Identifying network” and doesn’t acquire the IP address.
I even tried setting a static IP address but with no avail.
Ping doesn’t work, winbox doesn’t find it (no MAC address listed).
Even the ETH led on the LHG R doesn’t lit at all.
Tested the cable, tried with a new one, nothing…
I did reset it with the reset configuration - the same thing.
I am out of ideas what to do next.
Any help would be appreciated…
