Cannot create any PPP interface

Hello.

In the WEBFIG of Router OS 6.48, in the “PPP” menu and “Interface” tab, by pressing “Add New” dropdown button and pressing on any of dropdown item nothing happens. I am interested in configuring PPTP Client or L2TP Client or OVPN Client. Nothing happens also after Reboot or Hard Reset. The table of interfaces below shows “0 items”.

If to create PPTP/L2TP/OVPN clients from “Interfaces” menu, pressing “Add New” - the configuration menu although appears, but cannot be submitted because error popups: “Unsupported device type”.

have you ever tried via ssh and or winbox?

I have just tried to create interface using winbox - yes, it is created.

So I gonna paraphrase the question: Is winbox/terminal configuration more preferred way to configure router? And why?

yes, webfig is more of a look or quick settings
