Cannot FTP supout.rif file from router

Anyone having this problem? Routerboard532, V2.9.6, ftp from win2000, FTP connects but when I issue get command ftp fails with an “error 425 cannot open data connection” I have tried 4 different PC’s all fail with the same error.

I have rebooted and problem persists.

any help is appreciated.

Not sure why. But I had to use a FTP client that supported passive mode.

Once activated the file ftp’s correctly.

A new feature of MT 2.9.6???

Another solution is to open Winbox, go to the Files section and then drag-and-drop the supout.rif file to your Windows desktop.
